Who We Are

1st Micro Greenery is a MAEAP verified, Michigan On-Farm Produce Safety participating urban farm, located on the corner of First and Broadway NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We produce living plants in a cup so you get the freshest produce available today. At the micro green stage, plants have the strongest flavor and highest nutritional value because they are concentrated. Only using the nutrients from the seed, these living plants are as pure and fresh as it gets.

Mr Micro

Mr Micro had a simple beginning. We wanted an activity for kids at the WestSide Street Fair that would teach them about growing their own food. We had a bunch of organic material that we no longer used for production and wheatgrass grows quickly and is easy to grow. Our design team came up with the idea, added some googly eyes, and Boom! — Mr Micro was born! As they say, “the rest is history”. Mr Micro has been boosting peoples moods ever since.

We provide everything you need to make your own Mr Micro, except the glue. The kit includes:
